The West Iredell CTE Building consisted of a 5,500 SF renovation of the existing shops and a 7,600 SF single-story addition.  The renovation work includes a reconfiguration of an existing art room as well as a new corridor to the addition.  The existing wood shop and agricultural shops were renovated to become a 2,100 SF woodworking shops.  The new addition consists of a 2,500 SF agricultural/mechanics shop, classrooms, a horticultural classroom/lab, and an intro to transportation classroom.  The exterior work area of the shops has a covered area accessed by large overhead coiling doors.  Clear story lighting in the shops brings in natural light not previously available in the existing shop area.
